Just a reminder of the Veterans' Day Parade at 10:00 a.m. in Dalton on Saturday, November 13th. If you can come, we can meet off of I-75 at Dalton's Walnut Ave. Exit 333 at Dalton State College's front and center parking area by 9:00 a.m. and drive in one car to the parade staging area. We can carry our American flag (stars and stripes) and our SUVcamp flag, or we can just carry muskets. We would fall in with our SCV enemy comrades.

Wes Davis, and myself will be there, hope other will come.

I don't know just what happened but, Freddy Parris from the Camp of Dade SCV 707, has called the Ringgold's 1890's Day Parade off. We will not march in the parade.

Monday will stay the same - meet at Cracker Barrel in East Ridge TN., @ 4:00 PM ET.

Please try to attend the following events:
1. Ringgold's 1890s Days, Saturday, May 29, 2010 - the Camp carries the National and Camp flags
    in the opening parade for 1890s Days. We will meet at Ringgold High School at 10:00 AM Eastern;
    the parade will start at 11:00 AM Eastern.

2. Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2010, we will meet at the Cracker Barrel in East Ridge at 4:00 PM Eastern.
    Activities: memorial services at the James Watkins cemetery, then back to Cracker Barrel and eat and have
    a meeting. Then off to Chattanooga Confederate Cemetery to the Miller & Wentworth graves; then,
    to the National Cemetery for the 8:30 PM Eastern start time of the Torchlight Tour.

Missionary Ridge Camp #63 has again been invited by Freddy Parris from the State of Dade Camp #707, Sons of Confederate Veterans to take part in the parade in Ringgold.

When: Saturday, May 29, 2010, 10:00 AM ET
Place: At the Ringgold High School, the parade starts at 11:00 AM ET.
What: Ringgold's 1890s Day Jamboree Parade - we will march in the parade, carry the colors and fire a salute.

If you can attend, please let me know. I will send another e-mail about the Chattanooga National Cemetery 2010 Torchlight Tour for May 31st. I will get a permit and let everyone know no later than Tuesday of this week.
